On 11th July 2018, the Centre for Autism (part of the University of Reading’s Department of Psychology) hosted an interactive talk about sensory reactivity in autism for autistic individuals, parents and carers entitled “Understanding Sensory Reactivity in Autism”.

SpecialKidz sponsored this free event, which was given by Dr Teresa Tavassoli. Over the last 10 years, starting at Cambridge University, via the Seaver Autism Centre in New York and UCL, to the Centre for Autism at the University of Reading, Teresa’s research has been dedicated to deepening our understanding of sensory reactivity in autism.
